Mixtape, as it is being re-released in
2023 to a whole new generation of Hip
Hopers. Jail Break Recordz, the original label to release this project, did a great job in putting together the list of guests and features. Sprinkled in within mixtape cuts is an actual full EP album which is a creative way to debut an artist. It moved around 10K units initially and is already getting off to a great start in 2023. If you're into street hip hop music with a conscious side, this is the mixtape for you!

CYDNEY POITIER USN VINYL SIGNING AT THE DONUT SHOPPE
If you're in the Orlando area on May 20th afternoon, be sure to stop by The Donut Shoppe Vinyl Store on Orange Ave. They'll be hosting Cydney Poitier's vinyl signing and listening for his new album USN (Uptown Saturday Night). Poitier is touting this project A Motion Picture Soundtrack and one of his best projects. The event will be hosted by GQdaembassy and DJ Mega will be spinning dope music.

Season 2 of The Everything Indie Show To Start Early Spring.
With the first season being a bigger success than imagined, HKE have decided to premiere season 2 of The Everything Indie Show (TEIS) in early spring.
TEIS was able to sit with Indie artists from all over the Hip Hop and R&B spectrum and provided another platform to get their brand out. Even a Grammy nominated artist was featured.
TEIS season one also provided a voice to independent businesses and other talents. We heard from small businesses like gym owners & restoration services owners, to comedians and poets. It provided a Top 5 Indie Videos of the Week segment that let the audience know who was busy dropping work that week, while also including another playlist of honorable mention videos in Sounds of the Week that dropped (or were discovered by HKE) that week (Both playlists can be found on their Youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@haveknotzentertainment5754/playlists).
There was even a segment where TEIS offered discounts to services and merchandise as well as free prizes (even $$$!), called The Winning Wheel - staying in the show's theme of being a promotion for all the services HKE provides. And the show will often deliver tips and insight to help self motivate those watching.
The show is said to be coming back pretty much the same but with some minor changes. If its as entertaining as the first season, then the audience will be in for something special.
